Lots going on here. 22 inch scale, GDg. It’s made out of scrap. The neck is a bit of oak finish left behind by the previous owner of our house. Other pieces are leftovers from other fun stuff. The Macanudo surface is a veneer that came inside the box. I just glued it to the back of the box, and it looks good. Oh, and it has a pickup. We had an old electronic timer for my daughter’s toothbrushing. The minute-second buttons broke. My wife started to throw it away and I stopped her. The little speaker, when wired to a jack is an effective pickup. Add a piece of PVC connector as a slide and I’m set.

Slide on Warren! Nice trick with the veneer. I have a whole bunch of them. Would it be totally inappropriate to use them on a non Macanudo box?
Very nice. A clean and handsome fretless.
