Also, I need to reverse the wires on the jack because when I touch the strings the I get a hum through the amp. I usually wire piezos one direction, but if the strings are grounded I have to wire them opposite. I forgot to do that. One thing that's nice is that with the little candy tin resonator it actually has a little bit of volume without being amped.

I put super glue in the holes and they seem to be doing okay. If that didn't work, I thought about inlaying a chunk of oak.
