1972 Nebraska CornHusker License Plate Reso

1972 CornHusker Reso, 27 1/4" fretted scale, Barnwood siding from a barn on my Grandma Hazel's 1800's homestead for the body/neck/heel, the dark colored wood is actually the original red barn paint, bolt bridge and nut, chrome skull tuners, chrome strap buttons, chrome screw fret dots, humbucker pickup. Also in the photo is my custom made "MADDOG" Mojobone slide by Mr. Randy Bretz. This is a Brother build to the fine CornHusker build "PaPa Hogg" Paul Smith did, someday we will get these two gits (along with their owners) together.

    That little short scale tin that I like.   Cute as heck and plays nice.   I think Iowa ended up a 28-14 winner.

    As far as the Huskers go, after last weeks narrow escape with Wyoming you might be generous on todays S. Miss. score :-)

    Iowa's score looks about right to me.

    Ha!~     Hope the Huskers win today.   Good photo and a super nice git.  

    Good story with the git and like the family stuff.    Hmm.   What could you come up with for a Grandma Hazel build?   Actually that little tin git of yours might fit the bill.

    You did a great job Maddog. The inset for the plate is a master's touch. That humbucker looks hot! I like the jack in the plate mounting hole too. A classic beauty....

    Thanks Dave! I am planning on going to KC with Uncle John, don't know how many CBG's I will take with. The CornHusker reso is a keeper git for me, I sent Paul Smith in Worcester, England this same style Nebraska plate and he built a sweet git with it so this is a brother to his. :-)
