Harp cover - tail piece

The low end Hohner harmonica came with a cool American Ace advertisement that was CBG size. I stuck it on a relic build that Dave Lynas has now.The harp was not very good and I soon junked it for parts. One of the cover plates made a good tail piece on this didley.

  • Thanks John! The harp was originally meant to be a bridge but I realized that it wouldn't hold up to the downforce of 4 strings. It was kind of flexing just pushing on it. I took the back cover off so that it would lay flat and drilled the blow holes all the way through. Used washers to help spread out the force to keep the strings from pulling through it. Drilled a couple larger holes for mounting and it worked perfect. The string spacing was pretty spot on. One of my better builds.
