  The strings are bronze wound steel, I don't know what the color is on the bronze but it holds up to a slide pretty good.

  Interesting. Great lookin' build. Are those nylon strings with a magnetic pickup!?

  This Brickhouse box made a really pretty guitar, US reproduction Civil War buckle on this one. Humbucker only and 3 coats of semi gloss clear, really like this box and will build another one using the Brickhouse box but will be very different look when finnished.  Yes the strings are in color, they are Alice A407C strings used the 5th 4th and 3rd at .042  .032  .024  Was going to put regular Earnie Ball strings on it and they said don't change a thing so it still wears red, yellow and green strings.
