Thanks. On my first build, I used a single poplar 1x2, which was OK, but not ideal. On this one, I sandwiched two 1x2s together vertically, then rough cut the shape on a scrollsaw. Finished shaping it with various hand rasps.
Lookin' good! Love the placement of the Volume knob. I made a Powerpuff Girl Lunchkit guitar earlier this week. Recycled a neck though- gonna try making the necks on my next few builds.
Still in process......got 'er stained, fretted, hardware on, fret markers of crushed blue glass epoxied in place...... just cut some inner bracing and notched a hole in the stamped top so I can recess and glue the bridge to the solid neck thru body.......
