Tradeday find:1964 Silvertone model 1457 made by Danelectro.Somebody changed the bridge but everything else is stock.Seller did not have the original "Amp in case".Low action, straight neck, sweet dual lipsticks.Sounds great running through tubes. Nice addition to the collection. :-)

This thing is a monster, I've been playing it for a couple of days now and I understand why the vintage lipsticks go for so much. I went to Guitar Center yesterday and played a reissue to compare, not even close.
The guitar sales manager offered me $800 for it as is. I paid $40 for it and a hard case, turned him down anyway. I'm keeping this one! :-D
