  • well, nice work, that's how it should be done ;-). But of course kerfing will make much more sense on a non-straight ("wavy"/curved) surfaces.
  • I have made the kerfs for another proyect and I take profit of, also is a practice for the next instrument. My friend and professor is a luthier here in Spain and he is publishing his pics about making instruments in FACEBOOK and I saw the kerfinf and I did make them before use in this CBG.

hehehehehe!!, "after market upgrades", hehehehe, funny!, thanks Bert.

I hope to upload soon the next pics showing both sides of the box made thinner to try them vibrates a big more for a bigger sound and the finishing of the instrument, also I have to make some sound to record, one from the "REAL" instrument ( a "TIMPLE" from Canary Islands, some kind of an UKE with the back side mountained, search fro TIMPLE PICS in google) and the sound of this one.

    Thanks for your comments!

  • One ?..... Why the kerfs in the side braces? Less weight? Or to conform to box side warp-age.
  • I like your mini, rainbow clamps with after market upgrades!
