  • I'm sitting here, 02.15 in the morning listening to Kent Duchaine and 'leadbessie' his steel guitar. He's singing 'Trouble in Mind' he sings it with real feeling I reckon. I go to bed at night and plan bits and pieces of guitar making ideas, I think 'OH THAT'S A GOOD IDEA' and then slowly nod off, and when I wake up I can't remember half the ideas!

  • It sure does mate, I've got the kids stopping for the weekend and They've hardly put the thing down yet, but they are constantly arguing about who's turn I is now to have a go! My wife went to bed early, don't know why?

  • how did that work for sound with the piezo ? does it sound like an old blues guitar ?
  • Yes mate, I made a small wooden sandwich with the piezo slotted in between in a little recess I drilled out with a forstner bit!

  • Nail  town,  my man, you " nailed it "  it looks great slim.   i like those dice knobs  is the piezo under the bridge wood ?  I like the box  too, it aint easy findin boxes for grand daughters ya know hahaha.  yup that there gitar has some granpa mojo  she'll be wailin the bees knees off it in no time.  my grandkids are diggin theres. we found some small wine bottles at the liqour store that would work for sliders , i drank the wine ( terrible stuff )  and we boiled em up and cooled em to the score marks and vouala "   mini grandkid glass sliders,  they even sanded them themselves .     yeah, thats a nice guitar man, I love the  coin inlay thats real cool. if she ever gets to smokin that thing and needs a cold sody,  shes got the money eh  hahah.  great job slim.
