    Now this is an amazing and interesting thing. I don't suppose I could convince you to take some measurements as I would love to recreate it in my shop.

    Very cool old fretted violin. The angled frets probably work as a vibrato device, or for quarter tone, (Middle Eastern) tunes. Very cool. Could you post a closer look at the neck?
