AGP #414 - “WOP Piano” - 3 String Fretless Guitar”Scale: 654mm/25¾ inches. Strings: .044NW/.030NW/.020NW/ Tuned: GDgA recent sighting of the Gitty Canned Heat, AKA Tin in a Box, brought back memories of our Canadian Mate, Erasmo, the “Fastest Tin in a Box Picker” in the West, also reminded me, that I did have a similar Gitty Type 1 litre Tin, sitting on a shelf, originally earmarked to be a 1 String Diddley Bow.As the name suggests, the Tin held a ‘Wipe On Poly”, and all the Timber came from bits and pieces of my ever Faithfull old recycled Piano from many years back.The 19mm thick Box sides (I think?) are European Spruce Pine, as is the 7mm thick Top, Bottom and Fretboard, which were from the Piano’s Soundboard, although having a reasonable Acoustic Volume un-amped, a 3.5k Ebay, Prewired Single Coil Pickup with Vol, Tone & Output Jack provides the extra noise, if so desired, but it does seem to prefer the Cleaner Side of Life, so you probably won’t see any “Hats on Backwards” performances with this Build, a Sound Sample will follow soon! :-D

That is a super looking builg build AGP! Nice use of the tin and the joinery and inset detailing is excellent.
