This is the first Resonator Guitar that I have built, so there were some learning curbs on this build. The issues that I ran into are: 1) you have to get the resonator centered (I eyeballed it and was off a little); 2) Since you can’t run the neck all the way through, it makes it hard to get it perfectly centered/squared to the box too. The end result was I had to slightly move my bridge off center a little to keep the strings straight down the neck, and it caused me to drill the string holes (through the coke knob) a little off center to since the knob was installed in the center of the box. Regardless, apart from the esthetics everything works fine. The Resonator is a Chicken water dish. If the box was deeper, I probably would have tried to keep the top of it on.
