The neck brace and sound hole grommets were heated with a torch until they glowed red and put into used motor oil to darken them. I did the screws too. I did this process 3 times to get them this dark.

    Thanks Dave. It is basically blued.  It started out with a nickel finish.  I've done the sound hole grommets like that for years.
