My first attempt at building a dulcimer strummer. The body is a 1960s House of Windsor cedar cigar box. The neck is curly maple, with a walnut fretboard. Ebony nut and bridge. The soundhole is a grated parmesan shaker lid insert for a mason jar. I did cheat on the dulcimer scale by adding a 1 1/2 fret to pick up the C and F notes. Tuned D-A-D.
