It sounds fine unplugged, as far as Cigar Box Guitar go. I don't think any of them have the greatest of acoustics without plugging them into an amp just because we are dealing with a Cigar Box that wasn't designed or intended to be used for music. As far as acoustics go, I think that my Red Punch CBG resonates probably the best of all my builds – why? I don’t know, it just sounds that way to me.
