  For the strings holes, I used a Door Strike Plate. I just had to bend down the center tab. I went with this because the box open from this end, so I couldn’t put the neck all the way through the box. I mounted the plate with screws that I painted pink. I also install a Piezo Transducer in case she wants to plug it into an amp some day.
