Here I go again, floundering in the sea of intellectual uncertainty. I'm having some problems with it. Today, I'm taking a break from all this Voo Doo and gonna build a cigar box one-string... My ego has taken a beating. I need a little success.
This is an American Warehouse Speakers G8C, an 8 Ohm 20 watt guitar amp speaker of the "American Vintage" series.. I bought two, they were on sale. I bought them in anticipation of my emergence as an amateur hobby guitar amp builder. That was in June. After hundreds of hours of reading and teaching myself electronics and making a pest of myself with the kind and patient electrical wizards of this forum. I have gone through dozens of hours of soldering, one and a half tubes of solder, a square foot of vero of various sorts, to build one amp board that lasted long enough to install it into a cabinet. I even have two speaker cabinets that I've nearly finished and a distortion and overdrive pedal ready to start on... Lonely little cabinets... I'll try to post the only one-minute sound file I have of it someday.
Sooo,
I broke down and bought a Gitty amp board the other day and it arrived yesterday...(I'm not admitting defeat. Just taking a break from awesomeness and letting Gitty be awesome for me for now.)
So, here I am, looking forward to seeing what those speakers sound like with my guitars and someone else's amp... Off to try to finish it later today. Wish me luck?

I've generally viewed electronics as a mysterious science, so, good on you for emerging yourself into the world of electronical wizzardry!
OK Keith, sorry 'bout that.
