Pallet wood, unknown white wood, and pine with red oak nut and bridge. Surprisingly loud acoustically and sounds pretty decent plugged in too.

Glenn Kaiser, a member here, makes a video about once a month where he builds a rudimentary diddley bow and plays it. He's damn good. I'm sure there are others that I can't think of...

Thank you very much, AGP! I started it to be an entry for the combo instrument contest, but didn't get her done. Planning to either cut the approx. 14 inches of excess board at the tail end of it, or experiment with some small home-made tuned drums on it. Anyway, will be experimenting with it in the near future. As far as hearing her sing goes. I suck at diddley, even more than three-string, so best I think I'll be able to manage is a bellow and a "MOO" from her. I'll try to get at least a little sound taste of it up in a few days.
