Thank you for your response. I understand your concern and I am really not interested in selling you anything you do not really need. As for songs, the CDs "do" contain songs to learn, but I mainly use them to demonstrate how I figure out and make my own renditions of songs. I want to instruct students in actually learning to play guitar and not just learning song after song off of tablature. For example, on CD 3, due to viewer interest, I teach my arrangement of this song:
I listen to recordings and simply make my own interpretations. Due to the fact, the CDs are very reasonable priced, consider purchasing CD 1. As a seasoned player, I believe you will find the approach interesting. If you find the material useful, you will feel confident the other CDs will offer you more insight into open tuning and bottleneck slide. I think you will be surprised to see how much information and opportunities to explore are contain on a single CD. Regardless, always feel free to write. I am glad to be of help and assist you in your interest. Enjoy, Keni Lee
Thank you for your comment. Basically, my series of instructional video CDs offers a method of exploring open tunings and bottleneck slide. Although, I do teach songs, the real emphasis is on learning to "utilize" basic music theory and apply it to figuring out or creating your own arrangements. Regardless of the number of strings, once you understand the interval relationships of the strings, you can apply your knowledge to any string instrument; 6 string guitar, banjo, cbg, etc. If you are interested in 3 string CBG, I would suggest CD 4 and 6. Even though you have a musical background, I feel you will find the approach interesting and contents useful. I would also be interested in your feedback and the performances you are able to create using the information. For more information, read the CD auctions: www.ebay.com Search: keni lee
