It is a concept and working pickup for a variable tuned pickup. It is quite technical in sections but the bottom line is this pickup can be tuned to sound like a vintage single coil fender pickup to an overwound Humbucker.

found a workaround for the missing post issue that is easier than the cut and paste method.
when you type your post the tab in the top left is highlighted as "Visual Mode"

ok well i made the job harder than it needed to be. i didnt quite cut straight and the joint was twisted.
so i double sided taped the two parts together and spent a lot of time sanding it square and even. dry run anf the neck looks square and all goo
