  • knew it was something like that...lol

  • LOL - my first post.. nothing to do with a CBG...

The SSL certificate for the site is only valid for cigarboxnation.com, any visitors using www.cigarboxnation.com will have to confirm entry with Chrome.

The next time you renew your SSL certificate, have your host add www.cigarboxnation.com as an alternative name and the message should go away.

There should be no extra charge for this.

  • seems to happen when i reboot the PC. first time i have to tell chrome its ok to visit the site.

@Keith. et al.....     search engine has nothing to do with it. im using the same bookmark i have been using for many years... must have been a chrome security update or the server doesnt have the right certificate..

    • I suggest you dump the old bookmark and set up a new one once you are in the site. CBN is now just //cigarboxnation.com whereas it used to be //www.cigarboxnation.com. For some reason Firefox and Chrome don't like the www address.

  • I use standard settings instead of enhanced in chrome security settings. I also do not go wandering to unknown sites in chrome. I use edge for that.

  • I’m on Chrome, never had a problem, maybe it has something to do with your device?

  • Try using duckduckgo for your search engine, plus it's better cause they don't trace where you have been. Also use Fire Fox for my browser.

    •  I second the duckduckgo and use the "Brave" browser. It's clunky, but secure.

  • Yeah, we get it a lot.  We have a love-hate relationship with our server.  I don't think they ever expected us to have this much activity when we set up the site a decade ago.
