hello Russ,i stopped by ta tell ya about the whiskey bow set up. i put a fingerboard on the dowel and it just has fret markers on it and because of the fingerboard it can be played like a fret-less bass. frets could be installed very easily and i probably will build another one at a later time with frets on it and 2 strings instead of 1. thanks fer yer kind words,and glad you like the build of the whiskey bow. take care and be well.

Thanks! I'm pretty much following a well-blazed path there: the "no rules" ethos / aesthetic is very strong among CBG builders, as is the desire to explore ways to turn everyday objects into music-makers.
