I had a part of an old oak table top that was a genuine barn find. I cut it down 20 years ago to make a coffee table and now the rest has been ripped into 5 maybe 6 necks.
Area hogged out for top; Next is same for slotted headpiece w/tuners
I am doing my first build and currently my Nut is a nail and my bridge is a piece of oak. I am using half a pbass pickup, with the bridge being wood do I need to add a copper strip or something to the bridge so I can ground the strings?
At lunch today I picked up 3 boxes at a local Cigar shop. One of these i liked for these reasons, almost all of the wood is exposed, it has a lid that slides in and out in a dado and the bottom is very thin which I think could make a decent soundboa
