I'm building my 2nd CBG now and I have some questions about strings.
First, a few details about the guitar. It is 24" scale, fretless, 4 string, with a standard single coil pickup from a strat. It is made from a smaller red Punch cigar box (Magnums)
To date I have been using the standard 1 x 2 sticks of poplar from lowes for my necks. From what I have researched, Maple is probably a good choice for these since it is hard and is less likely to bow. And it seems like ebony and rosewood are great c
