In my youth I might have danced a jig in excitement..... now I get excited when I find a new jig.

I also use a small delta bandsaw to cut frets, I have it adjusted to as close to 90 degrees as possible, with a stop for depth, and the blade is .023. save a lot of time.

Most bandsaws won't do a decent job at this. You want a scroll saw for slotting. Get one second hand for $50 and throw that mitre box on the roof

I agree, great idea for a stop. I cut some slots with my bandsaw last winter-the slots are just a smidgen too wide.

Neat idea for the stop. My saw wont cut a perfect 90 degree up and down at the moment (needs new blade, and a tune up) Thanks for the tips.
