  • There is a great program available, called Chord Pick Out. It will analyze a MP3 or any recording and tells you the chord progression. I've been able to come up with an arrangement for a song after discovering the chords used in the song. It's a inexpensive program. Check it out.

  • Mal,
If you are refering to "Can't be Satisfie" Not sure why you want a tab. He has an excellent instructional video. My favorite to play on a 3 stringer. Biggest challenge is the syncopated picking of the G and g strings , and the hammer-ons
  • hi Mal

best way i've found to tab things out is to use scales then a circle of fifths.

on your 3 string work out the scale postions for the major scale, and then the minor and major pentatonic scales.

then play the scales over the you tube clip, until you find a scale that fits (all the notes, sometimes you will get some that are just a note off)

then apply the scale to the circle of fifths.  i.e. if the scale is c major, then the C chord will be the I chord G will be the IV chord etc etc

    should be easy after that

otherwise i'll have a go after the long weekend

    Cheers
