guitar strings

So, I've used acoustic strings on all my cbgs so far. I was just sittin' here fooling around with one of them, and string bending while looking at my telecaster. and I thought hmmm.... this sure is easier with the lighter gauge strings on that. Has anyone experimented with electric guitar strings on their cbgs?

    i've used electric guitar strings on all my cbgs... lots more clarity and sound..!

    I tried the lighter electric strings, and they seemed to be pretty light and "flubby" at least for me. I play with a slide, so that is a factor also. I play mandolin, and I am used to finger killin' strings..

    I like being able to do both on the same guitar, so I keep a medium low action. guess I'll get a set of XLs and try them out.

    I've used both, and I really like the electric for lower action finger style playing, and the acoustic for slide.
