Hi. Again.
I'm after some very small grommets to fit into the holes where the strings pass through the bottom of the guitar neck, so that they don't cut into the wood.
I'm after some really small ones, something like a 5mm internal hole, and can't find them anywhere, not even places like cb-gitty seem to do them.
Can anyone recomend something, and where I might be able to get them from?
Thanks again.

i got an eyelet kit from a pound shop which consists of a pair of crimpers and the 2 halves that you press together, these are about 3 or 4 mm internal diameter, they're brass and you get a bag of 100 or so. only used em once so far n worked fine. theres a pic "identical twins" on my page that shows the tail end with em on. seen em in boyes shops too. hope thats some help :0)
I use the brass ferrules (they've probably got a proper name) off the end of an old set of strings, they worked fine for me and cost nowt. Which was a bonus.
Funny how easy it is to get the parts once you know what to look for. Cheers all.
Yes indeed.
there are 'special' top hat style ferrules that are readily available. I use C.H. Guitars but these are too large for you.

I have also used pop rivets )different sizes are available), brass plate with suitable holes drilled in it, and wire that is used to bend the string over, rather than the wood.
It's probably too late for now, but a flying tail piece can also be a solution
For ones used on electric guitar bodies these are good at £4.50 for six (bottom of the page)
