Mal, no soldering required with the guitar fuel options.All you have to do is mount the circuit board through something(like my little amp), connect a battery and speaker, plug and play. Alternatively, I echo Mr Flatts response. Micro amp best amp purchase ever!!!
These are not really cigar box amps as they are made by a large producer. They have lots of volume, tone variations, reverb, delay,phaser, chorus and flanger. They are loud enough for small pubs, are great for busking as they run for about 12 hours on batteries and contain the electrics in order for the player to replicate the sound of several types of amps including distortion. They are small but cost about £60 new and are the Roland micro Cube. One of the best purchases that I have ever made.
