Hi guys I'm new to this site and new to building and I was just wanted to know what the little metal things are called that the strings go through at the base. I've added a photo
Many thanks
If it's those eyelets I think I drill a 4mm hole for them and they leave a 3mm hole. On the back I usually drill a 5mm hole and insert a small bolt flush with the surface and this has a 2mm hole to hold the string bobble thingy.
I've seen the pop rivet solution and it looks better. I just tend to use the things I see and happen to grab in various shops I visit. I might order some pop rivets from e-bog for my next build.
I find it harder to find a really nice bridge. The bridge for me is the most critical part of the design, a nice one makes twice the guitar, get it wrong and it can ruin a great build.

They look to have large diameter do you know the dimensions?
