I have one of these in the loft.
only recently I was going to give it to the local museum .
seen how much they are worth now...yikes 100 quid!
didn't think they would be worth that much.
anyway the one I've got is like new and work perfectly.
I was thinking of converting it into amp seeing that it is an old valve radio.
no doubt it'll give a nice tone.
but I don't know how to convert it or should I sell ?
some would say its a shame to butcher it. heres a picture of similar one that I have.

Hi John, I agree with both John Baines and Andy, seems a shame to destroy a beautiful and fully working item. If it was mine I would display and use it but if that does not suit you maybe sell it and buy a cheap none working model with some of the money and convert that and then use the remaining cash to finance your future builds etc. All the best mate and happy building. :)
It would be a shame to butcher it for a tiny amp. They are a nice radio and in that good condition after all these years it deserves to be looked after. They also came in a creamy white colour - I had one once and sold it in the eighties and I wish I hadn't. It's still working in my friend's kitchen. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
