    The Music Maker Foundation provides financial support for roots musicians, many of whom are living way below the poverty line.

    They are having a benefit performance, starring the Carolina Chocolate Drops and Ironing Board Sam at The Hamilton in DC on Tuesday, September 3rd.

    It sounds like it will be a great show!

    We have been pretty lax about getting together around here. I had a BBQ at my house a while back and we did some jamming. I guess we need to organize another one this year.

    Thanks Dan/Jay, I'll keep working on moving the revolution south, Charlottesville's about an hour and 15 min. drive. I'm hoping to get some more guys in the Tri-City area Petersburg-Colonial Heights-Hopewell to get the bug.

A fret setup that worked?

Not for any particular build I have in mind...just trying to get an idea of what might have worked for someone. I keep thinking that it's complicated, but simple if the right tools or calculations are used. what say ye?
