Neck Help

Hi folks

 

After a gap from building due to phd studies that left me with no spare time, its time for me to build again, this time with more ambition than before. Basically, i want to do some 6 stringers (eeeeckkkkk). The first time i do this i plan to add a nect to a box that has an adjustable truss bar withinit. However i havnt a clue how to make this strong enough. Does anyone have a idiot's guide to this that even includes some clear diagrams or photos of the process step by step. It really does have to be an idiots guide as basically i am an idiot.

    I think from your post you are talking about adding a manufactured neck to a CB.... Fender/pocket neck style.... if so, email me, I have a brief "How to build a Pocket neck CBG"... It shows a 4 stringer being build, but, the principles are the same....

    Barrie, I do not agree with you, you are not an idiot.
    I am sorry I can't help you with your problem; I haven't yet built a six stringer, and know nothing bout truss bars. Maybe someone will come to your rescrue soon. DW
