Im confused.  I built  my first , using a heel and  and screw/guled it together w/ board inside.   I did this cause I couldnt figure out the thru body style.  Im sure Im missing something obvious.

 I saw a vid on here where a guy  added  a 1/4 piece  to the 1x2 to make FB and raise it some from box top.   Wouldnt you still need to cut 1x2 down to compensate for box top??  sorry I cant figure it in my mind.

Im going for a pretty low action,,, cause I havent learned any slide yet and am just using fingers.
