Building my first cbg, and trying to avoid asking too many questions here and just figure it out myself, but wondering how to wire up 2 piezo and a volume pot. I have seen mention wiring them in a series, or dual, don't really get the details of this. I am sure this has been discussed before, so you can just point me to a discussion or answer. Thanks so much, I am so excited for this build. P.s. tips on a 2 piezo location for mounting would be helpful.

You can either connect the piezos in series or parallel. I initially have longer wires on them and try which way sounds best. Both ways sound a little different so try what sounds best with your cbg. And when you've decided you cut the wires to the right size that you need to install it neatly (less hum).
Hi Harley, I'm still a novice in cbg building but take it from me, just use one bar piezo fitted underneath the bridge, the results are brilliant with no feedback. I built three cbgs with disc piezos and thought they were good until I discovered bar piezos.
I make my own bridges out of hardwood and cut a groove in the bottom with a 2mm router so that the bar just squeezes in. Drill a 2mm hole in the box to take the wire through directly under the bridge.
hope this is of help

Thanks roger, I am planning many more builds in the future with rods and pickups as I read more about them. But for my first cbg I want to do the standard piezo disc method. Should be done in a week. Will keep posted

Here is some good diagrams for this.

It doesn't show two discs with a volume pot, but I have just split the wires after the pot and sent them to the discs.
