I need some beginner stuff on how to read tabs for a 3 string cbg. I'm trying to follow along on a Ken Lee CD 4 lesson and I'm getting lost on the tab stuff. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Ok, part of me hates myself for even mentioning it this early...but given my skill level I need time to practice if I'm going to learn anything to share with my family so I kind of have to bring it up early.
Forgive my ignorance, never played before and I am searching for tabs. I noticed on my CBG which is tuned to an open G, GDg, when strumming the CBG I get a G chord when baring the third fret I get a C chord and when baring the 5th fret I get a D cho
