What strings to use?

I am at the string stage of my  first build, thanks to all the help at this forum. I got a pack of stings and they are gauge 9, 11, 16, 24, 32, 42,
 I want to use 4 strings and tune then, as Kenny Lee said Df#ad  .
 What strings of this pack would i use for this tuning.

    I didn't check out Diane's link although I'm sure its great. Quick answer...the 9 gets tuned down from standard e to d. The 11 gets tuned down from standard b to a, the 16 gets tuned down from standard g to f#, and the 24 is left at standard D. If your scale length is pretty typical then this should all be fine and dandy.

    Use this, be sure you know your scale length (nut to bridge)
