Ray Nutter of St. Augestine, FL is a giant in the founding of the modern cigar box guitar movement, but his instrument of choice is actually a washboard... a super sized, insane washboard! Nutter's creations have been known to contain several cymbals, multiple wood blocks and always more cowbells. He's also a fantastic player who approaches the homespun percussion in a very prog-rock method.
Just check out his playing here...
Think you know a better washboard player? Post them below!
