now every one has a cheap guitar with a bolt on neck somewhere a $20 one squire r Johnson that they don't play hide from everyone this build would make good use of that guitar it will sound better than it ever did if you put in in a box lol thanks for all the kind words
good lookin CBG... nice solution to box being a little short. Question: How thick is the wood that you installed to attach the bolt on neck too? My concern is how well it will hold up over time. Please give a report after 100 hours of play time. Good Job! the best, Wichita Sam

I used 3/4" thick 2 1/8" red oak 1/2" thick glued to the box lid got some over 5 years old and they still play great
