So i have a few petite boxes & want to make a mini 3 string. I was wondering what might be a good shorty scale length?-while still gettting a blues sound. Also, how would i space the frets? I'm doing 24.5 & 25" on most of my guitars right now, which seem long especially if i try to center (more or less) the bridge on the box, So 2 things - a good shorty scale length for a mini & maybe a shorter scale for my standard length so i can center the bridge more. Many thanks for any advise -cheers

If you want to know about short scale, Diane is your man, well, you know what I mean, lol
Trust Diane in Chicago on the subject of short scale lengths... She's got more short scale builds than any three of us and her stuff is excellent.

Big fingers have a hard time hitting chords and such.
I have no idea how mando players do it.

Just print up a new fret layout template for the size to decide on and you're in business.
