Hey All,

Took my first step by joining the Nation.

 Been reading and looking and learning and felt ready for the second step.

I went online and found locally, a couple of cigar boxes to use. They are a pair of MAXX's and on the smaller size, so I sanded one side down to the grain and glued them and clamped them up. They are now sitting out in the shop as I plan my next move.

I guess when I am ready to hollow them out some for the neck I will have dual sound chambers. Is that like a homemade reverb system then ? ? ? :) Been thinking I might go the license plate route for a top. Digging the Blues sound, and with the fact I have a handle on a plate that was stamped out in the old days at a state prison farm would seem to all kind of fit in place. Will see how it goes.

Hmmmm maybe I will get out there and take a few pics for my album to be some day :)
