Number #3 is coming along...just thought I would share. I building this for a buddy of mine who use to play guitar for Crazytown...now he's a just a bad@ss record producer.

Still Needs fret markes, holes for the strings bridge, nut and tuners. Any issues with smashing the piezo betwwen the lid and the neck?

OK tonight I'm gonna try and finish......Ok tonight Im gonna TRY and finish, thanks for the suggestions...I think Im gonna try foam inside and see if it gunts :)
You can sandwich the piezo between some foam if you are going to smash it between the lid and neck. I have done that and it has worked OK for me pretty well. I placed it right behind the bridge. But the best placement is is as Matt Towe said, "as close as possible to the bridge on the bass side". Good luck.
You'll get a lot of handling noise if it's "smashed" between the lid and neck. If you have a relief cut for the lid to act as a soundboard ..... it should give enuff room to put the piezo under the bridge. If not, as close as possible to the bridge on the bass side should be OK. Nice job.

btw- you look a little young and girly to be building cbg's.
