  • Very funny Shane.....he he (-:  ...though black coffee can taste sweeter with a little sugar!   The old "God" hasn't done too bad for himself, has he?

  • Q.  What do Eric Clapton and coffee have in common?

    A.  They both suck without Cream.

  • I agree Tom but that Warwick thumb bass that Jack plays is beautiful!

  • Hogs - I agree with you on the DVD - their reunion was pretty good and worth having - my only complaint was Claptons guitar choice - yeah I know the strat has been his weapon of choice since Layla - but an SG or Les Paul would have been a better choice for those shows IMHO - T

    No Steve I did not see Cream at the reunion I saw them when they were around first time (yes I am that old!). Had to make do with the DVD set for the 2005 bash. If you haven't seen the gig the DVD's are well worth buying.

  • Tom, I couldn't have said it better!

  • You lucky devil Tom, i was a Cream fan but still at school - and Hog did you mean their reunion gigs a few years a go?

    The Blues "got" me all those years ago in the 60's....it never lets you go (-;

  • Me too Tom saw their farewell. As for age, it's in the mind, as the majority of the audience were around 60ish so I felt at home.
  • Love Jack Bruce too! I was lucky enough to see Cream live on their "Farewell" Tour in 1968 when I was a mere 16 yo - wow, guess I really am getting old - Nobody else plays and sings like JB!
