used his alnico 5 magnet and cut in half. I am potting it right now and will through together a test mule soon.

I mounted it in a guitar and it sounds a lot like the p90 I have in my electric guitar. I made another and got 7000 winds on it, I can't tell the difference in sound between it and the first with 6000 winds on it. They both sound great, no feedback like the piezo in my first two CBGs.

I used a Dremel cut off wheel and cut a little at a time letting the magnet cool between cuts. Tried to use a hacksaw, but the magnet is too hard for that, just skidded across the steel.

Nice job. Is that the design from Stew Mac? What kind of magnet?
yes I used Stewmac's instruction and got the parts from Ebay, http://stores.ebay.com/Addiction-FX-Guitar-and-Sound?_rdc=1 .

How and what did you use to cut the magnet?

Cool I like the way you've put it together. I'll have to try that in my next Humbucker attempt.
Congrats :)
Thanks all
Now I need to build another guitar. ;)
