Finnaly pics of my first build

Ok here are pics of my first build completed. I have three others almost done so this is why it took so long. I am picky and wanted it to turn out right. Thanks for all the help and I will post vid of how it sounds soon. I think it sounds great myself. I am not sure if I am going to call them ,"Copper Indian Banjos" or "Indian Head Banjos" lets take a pole..... http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn289/Mr_Havoc/135.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn289/Mr_Havoc/137.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn289/Mr_Havoc/139.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn289/Mr_Havoc/140.jpg

  • For the finish I used a spray clear enamel. I was going to use tru-oil like I do when I build bows but thought I would try the spray and it worked great and even allowed me to sand in between coats. I think Indian Head Banjos is smoother as well and thanks.
  • I like Indian Head Banjos, rolls off the tongue better I think. Very nice work on the guitar by the way. What did you put on the wood to treat it if I may ask? —B
  • Ahhhh wonderful.
  • Very nice looking build, Kevin. Really like the penny, pretty classy.
