Yep, that's us. It wasn't an easy decision to make, to get involved with Musician's Friend and Guitar Center. But, I looked at it this way - one way or another, they were going to make a move into the handmade instruments/cigar box guitar world. Did we want them carrying some cheap Chinese stuff, or something that would be tied into the larger movement. You guys know that with me, it isn't about making huge profits and raking in cash... I put almost everything back into growing the movement - because I know that as the movement grows, C. B. Gitty will grow. For me, the mission is to spread the word that anyone, anywhere can build their own instrument and make music on it... the business of C. B. Gitty is the vehicle that makes that possible.
well , i've released a couple of factory models in my time here , and i coined the phrase " we didn't sell out ,,... we infiltrated ! " ;-)
you are welcome to use that phrase if need be ;-)
but seriously , it's all good , and congrats ..
but it does kinda make the word "revolution" seem a bit irrelative... maybe ..
but it goes with "infiltration" , so you are still good ;-)

Yeah, Ben, when I first saw the ad offering, I thought "Oh No...now everyone will know about our thing". But "our thing" can grow, bring more folks in, as well as raise awareness about the CB Movement. Plus, with the generally crappy customer service found in most businesses these days, I hope folks will gravitate to CB Gitty and feel what good...no, stellar customer service is. I'm sure many folks within your customer base will agree, there is no need to go elsewhere for git parts. I'm old, and I remember when serving customers was important, not a hassle or nuisance as is so oft demonstrated by the the many dopes and snowflakes across the counters of America today. End of rant. Best wishes going forward. As the "pick" aptly proffered, infiltrate on!
Mainstream! But "Pearls before swine" comes to mind. We can at least hope it will get a few folks interested who haven't seen stuff like this before. I'm often surprised at how many very good guitar players are totally unfamiliar with cigar box instruments.
