I live in Rochester NY and we have this  hhhmmm  they call it a BBQ & Blues Fest every year... Out of curiosity I e-mailed them to see if they have other vendors at the event other then BBQ.. I haven't seen this in the past... Just wanting to know what the cost vs effort might be for sales...

We do have some carefully selected non-food vendors.

I explained the concept and gave them the CBG website for a look at the nation...

The bottom Line  450.00 for a booth...

I let it sit for a week and then I get this e-mail!

Craig,

We’d love to have the cigar box guitar movement represented at the Big Rib BBQ & Blues Fest.

Please give me a call to discuss.

Now what...it's on a Thursday night , Friday night Saturday and Sunday... in July

As said at the CBG fest anything at the 100.00 level is gone... more then that seems to be a waste...

I'm not much on Gambles but to start this in Rochester and get the word out would be a great thing...

I'm actually at a bit of a loss... any thought would help.

Thanks

  • $450.00 is high,, looks like we are in negotiations now... will let you know the update...
  • I would only go that much if there were a guaranteed 200,000 plus in attendance.

I was kinda glad when I missed  Merlefest at $350.00.

  • $450 for a booth sounds kind of steep for a booth. But a CBG vendor would certainly fit in with BBQ and blues, that's for sure.
