"Now in its 16th year, the UK’s longest established guitar show, the North West Guitar Show, returns to its most popular venue yet at Haydock Park Racecourse Exhibition Centre on Sunday 19th May 2013 from 10am to 4.30pm.
This will be our 50th guitar show we have organised since we began the business in 1998.
Building on record attendances and sales in 2012, this year’s show will be the biggest yet with more than 100 dealers and exhibitors with product to sell. The UK’s biggest one day guitar show.
The show is a unique opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories and also features fantastic live music all day.
Scheduled for the live stage this year are the sensational young blues guitarist, Ben Poole with his band presented by My Guitar Lessons and local sensations, The Andy Bennett Band; amazing 14 year old guitar sensation James Bell playing Vintage and Fret-King guitars (winner of Young Guitarist of the Year Award 2011) and jazz-swing maestro, Anth Purdy featuring DWJ Pedals. Ace session guitarist, Lee Wrathe, will be demonstrating the latest Roland Boss products.
