Preventing a bolt on neck from bowing. And why is it bowing?
I just build a bolt on neck guitar with the bolt on neck ,they sell here. After about a monthat after I build the thing. I have a nasty bow at the end of the neck ,that attaches to the box. Could it be the box? I did not reinforce the box. Do i need to do that?

If you put a straight edge on the neck you confirm the neck itself is ok or not. If the neck is ok then either the connection allows it to bend or the box is bending. But in general, even for a bolt on uke I would reinforce the box.

Hi, it would help to see the neck and the type of box. I build my own boxes so just have to brace the top and/or back. What is your box made of? is it a six string neck? what is the neck made of?
The neck would normally bend in the middle of its length, if the string high spot is at the attachment area, I would look at the heal block [if any] and how secure the screws holding the neck are, or, is there enough backwards tilt of the neck out of the body. I have some actual cigar boxes that I would not use due to their weakness.
