Not overthinking before spending big bucks on something

Questions - is it 15 degrees off zero or the back fence? Mine doesn't do 15 off the back fence ( would be 75 off of zero) and 15 off of zero will require two cuts (are you ok with that?) and a need to hold the wood level and steady. Myself I made a jig and use my table saw and am no longer terrified of scarf joints ;-)

Most ive seen will do 15 off Zero, (which would be ok, doing two cuts) I was just hoping to find the magical solution :-) and didn't really want to invest in another large power tool at present with nowhere to keep it set up. I may try making a simple jig/box or jig for my skil saw from some scrap and see if that works because my freehand cutting is atrocious at present. Failing that i may just have to bite the bullet and join the community workshop where they have EVERY tool and loads of work space.

Here you go. Hand sanded. Need to get a belt sander. This is the first one I made at 13 degrees. You can see my setup in one of the pix. Made a 90 degree fence and clamp it to the saw's fence. Having a little trouble with burning the maple. Haven't figured that one out yet. I ripped the head stock to the width that I wanted on the table saw and then cut the angle on the radial arm saw. It fit well. Belt sander would have made it better. But, not to bad. Not quite perfect yet.

so i ended up giving it another go by hand and slowly getting better, now i just need to pick which box to use
